Right now the contractor claims she’s still on time and under budget! Never heard of such a thing, but let’s take a look at her progress. Here are two views of the house right now, front and back:

I’m sure you noticed the new windows, the roof!, the gutters, the basement windows (with one missing, so we’ll have to obscure it with a plant of some sort), and the back stairs. Not much left to be done, except of course for the downspouts (easy), the landscaping (not so easy), and the garage, which of course is actually a whole nother structure. So at least a few more weeks.
