So here we are, eating a delicious dinner at our third monthly visit to Via Cannuccia, and we look out the front window. We see three reservationless couples on the sidewalk waiting patiently for a table to open up; they have to wait outside because the restaurant is so tiny. The moral is obvious:
Make reservations! That’s what Barbara and I did (617-506-1877). You should too. Or you should eat dinner at 5:00, I suppose.
Barbara had their standby pizza margherita, which comes hot out of the oven with a focaccia-like crust. One size fits all. Well, it fits some: we had to take half of it home.
I had the day’s special: boneless short ribs with roasted potatoes and roasted broccoli. Perfectly seasoned and 100% delicious, no matter what George H.W. would have said. Had to take a third of that home as well.
Highly recommended! But don’t forget those reservations.
