A month ago I posted this comment: “I’ve already written many times about Tavolo, so just a word about one new item.”
And now, once again a new item. You guessed it from this post’s title: linguini with clams on a visit a day or two ago:

But none for me. (“Why not?” you ask. Because I don’t like clams. If I did, I would order this dish, but that wouldn’t be a good idea, since I don’t like them. For some unknown reason, I like shrimp and mussels but not clams or oysters. You explain it.)
Anyway, Barbara said these were delicious. I will take her word for it, but my choice was much better (not my biased opinion, of course, just an objective observation): hangar steak ordered rare, with grilled asparagus and fingerling potatoes.

Oh — I forgot to mention that we started by sharing a kale Caesar salad (without kale):
