Finally, the house and detached garage are done!

It will take a few more weeks before we can see them in context, as the surrounding neighborhood isn’t quite complete (it’s missing some streets and most of the landscaping). When all that is ready, the house will also include a driveway, a front lawn, a path from the house to the garage (not covered — sorry, Brian!), a path to the street, and perhaps grandma sitting in her rocking chair on the front porch. Note that although this will be part of a model railroad layout, there will be no tracks close to the Goldbergs’ house. You’ll see why in a subsequent post when I outline all the different neighborhoods in Rose City.
