Tavolo

It’s been a long time since we’ve been to Tavolo, largely due to weather and not being able to drive after dark. The solution today was to go to brunch! They were serving the regular dinner menu along with their brunch menu, so…

Barbara went the brunch route, having fancy Nutella brioche French toast with maple syrup, powdered sugar, whipped cream, and luxardo cherry liqueur sauce:

And I went the dinner route, with delicious grilled flat-iron steak au poivre, which came with grilled escarole and mashed potatoes in a brandied cream sauce:

Everything was yummy, as I’m sure you can guess from the photos.
