We don’t get food from El Barrio often enough, considering that it’s right in the neighborhood, as the name suggests. In fact, the original branch is less than one short block away from us!

Last night we wanted tacos and quesadillas, so it was easy enough to order through El Barrio’s website and then pick up the order: elote asado and quesadillas carnitas for Barbara, assorted tacos (shrimp, steak, and carnitas) for me. Then Barbara had to have churros for dessert, but I managed to refrain.

Unfortunately we forgot to take photos until halfway through the meal, but these will at least give you a glimpse of some of our items:
