Quick! Живојиновић and more

What is that strange word in Cyrillic letters in the title? At first glance it looks like Russian… but then the letters ј and ћ show that it isn’t Russian. Hmmm… Be patient now; you’ll find out soon what’s up. First, though, what else do I have in front of me? Why does the title say “quick!”? Do I want you to be quick, or are we talking about the word “quick”?

It turns out that we’re talking about an even-better-than-usual post by the amazing James Harbeck. (Yes, you’re right: those hyphens are probably unnecessary. I will replace them with spaces: an even better than usual post.) His post is about etymology. Pay attention now: etymology, not entomology. No bugs here.

In Harbeck’s post you will learn how the words biographyrevivedWikipediaLifesonwhisky, zoo, and hygienic are all etymologically related to each other. Pretty surprising! Good stuff there, so read it and learn!
