South Station model railroad exhibit

Fortunately I decided to take the T, so I didn’t have to figure out where to park in the vicinity of South Station, which is featuring a brand-new model railroad exhibit this winter. Actually, they’re toy trains, not model trains, but let’s not be too picky: just ignore the middle rail that you see in the tracks in the four photos below. The exhibit features some well-done scenery and structures — I particularly liked the harbor scene, the fall foliage, and the urban buildings — along with trains that worked much of the time. (There were only four derailments during my short visit.)
