Congratulations to Weston High School for finishing first in this year’s medium-size schools division of the New England Math Championships!
Weston earned 97 points to capture first place. Avon, CT, came out of nowhere to score 93 points, providing a reasonable margin after a very tight race just before the team round, when it was 79 for Weston and 78 for Avon; Weston earned a perfect 18 on the team round, the only school to do so. Our traditional rivals, Canton and Wayland, finished in third and fourth place, with 85 and 74 points respectively. And then on down from there…
