Restaurants need more business on Tuesdays. So we had to go eat at Tavolo last night. I know, it was quite a sacrifice, but somebody had to do it.
Barbara had a margherita pizza with a side of house meatballs with marinara and parmesan. I helped out by eating one slice of the pizza. I had tonight’s special: scallops risotto with prosciutto, mushrooms, broccoli rabe, and marsala. Had to take some home so that I could leave room for espresso gelato for dessert. And then we also took home two slices of the flourless chocolate cake for later consumption. Such a sacrifice, as I said.
All was yummy, of course.
