To follow our first excellent experience—dinner on April 20—Barbara and I joined our friend Meredith for brunch yesterday at Via Cannuccia. Like the dinner, brunch was first-rate.
From Stefano’s wonderful home-made pastries, we each had a shy brioche roll with crème and blueberries. I am just guessing that they were shy, because they didn’t want their picture taken, but I do have photos of our entrees: avocado toast with a sunny-side up egg and greens for Barbara, crostata romana (a.k.a. carbonara quiche) with greens and smashed potatoes for Meredith and me.
Stefano and Tsedenia definitely haven’t seen the last of us!
