Building a model railroad structure, week 9

More progress, as the Goldbergs get close to the scheduled date for their closing. They needed a mezuzah before the closing — and remember that it’s 1969, so they had to look up Mezuzahs in the Yellow Pages (if you’re under 30, ask your parents what the Yellow Pages were) — and then they had one installed in the correct position (right side of the door, one third of the way down, angled slightly toward the interior). The porch roof has been temporarily removed, but of course it will be restored. Also notice the downspouts (you can see one below). Most importantly, notice the newly built detached two-car garage, which still needs to have the doors installed before the Goldbergs’ Pontiac and Oldsmobile can be safely parked inside.

What’s left, other than a path from the side door of the garage to the back door of the house?

Thank you for the mezuzah, Leah!
