It was so nice to be able to see our friends at Tavolo last night for the first time dining there (not just takeout!) since the pandemic began. We’re talking safe dining on the improvised outdoor patio on Dot Ave, which worked well. Barbara and I had Chef’s Burrata Salad (burrata, Georgia peaches, mint, baby spinach, prosciutto); Beef Carpaccio (beef tenderloin, red onion, capers, sea salt, lemon aioli, and lots of arugula); Bistecca di Primavera (grilled hanger steak, roasted potatoes, grilled asparagus,salsa verde); Merluzzo con speck (speck-wrapped cod, asparagus risotto, confit tomatoes, blackberry coulis); and lemon tarts. Oh so yummy, and plenty of leftovers. Special shout-out to Michaela and Tara!
